Design and performance at its best. The subwoofers are built to JL audio air volume spec even with the odd shaped trunk. Part of the enclosure sits over the rear hump taking the least amount of space.

Bimmer sport brought over this beautiful supercharged M coupe to the audio professionals for an upgrade. We have to incorporate the bottle and the pump in the custom trunk setup.

Classic: Volvo 164

Focal K2 Power KRX2. Made in FRANCE! Our fav!

This Scion TC is designed for a true audio enthusiast

LAB: Ram

Richards truck from LAB located 10 min from ULTRA AUTO SOUND. This truck has everything done to it......except the dash looks boring...... Time for us to work our magic. We gave Richard a Kenwood double din touch screen.....only issue was that his dash is not made to fit a double din. OEM stereo is a 1.5 din. This means we had to modify the radio bezel.

The DDX 318 and DDX 418 is ideal because it has no moving parts, what this means is the cut out can be the exact size as the radio. With some precise modification with no gaps around the deck it looks like it came from dodge.

Transformer Upgrade: Camaro

Brand new Chevy Camaro with headers and cat back exhaust. Sounds mean on the outside but can use a little spicing up on the inside. The Boston Acoustic manufacture stereo isn't cutting it. The simplest fix....change the speakers. even tho Boston Acoustic is a decent car audio manufacturer.....when it comes to OEM....a special line of speakers is developed from Boston to offer something on a budget but have the branding. We replaced these cheap Boston's with some high end focal speakers.

On the Left is the new Focal KR2 component speaker, on the right is the Boston Acoustic manufacturer speaker. As you can see the fancy Focal speaker on the left has a cast metal basket giving it a strong structure so it does not resonate.....just one of the many reasons that make this a MUCH better speaker.

Using the original speaker spacer the Focal KR2's are a perfect fit.

Looks the same......but definitely does not sound the same. Has a much warmer...softer sound.....with a good amount of volume. Removed the Boston badge on the speaker grill and replaced it with the Focal badge to give the new speakers credit.

Boom Box: xB

The guys over a Wacky Wings brought over their Scion XB to make it more appealing and at the same time make it sound good. Since this is going to be a promotional vehicle we are going to be installing a lot of lights. Strobe lights....under car lights...grill lights.

Installing strobe lights inside the headlights and tail lights require a lot of skill and some time. a heavy duty vacuum is required to suck out all the bits of plastic when drilling inside the casing of the headlight.

Two 12" JL Audio 12W1v2 Sub woofer enclosure. This is a good shallow sub woofer for a small setup.

2 tone custom finish. Trim panel being made to give it a finished built-in look

Custom sealed box built to sub woofer specification. "the box makes the sub"! Rounded edges. Material matched to the interior of the car. This is a perfect setup that is good for promotional and practical. Nice vehicle Wacky Wings!

Touch me: MR2

1992 Mr2 in mint condition. Except the audio!....especially when its about 20 years old. This Mr2 required a major over haul. New wires, speakers, deck, amplifier, sub woofer.

Kenwood Touch screen with bluetooth, capable of streaming nav and net flix from the iphone. Adding this head unit to the simple Mr2 dash brought the car up to date.

With the T tops off and the system playing over the wind noise .......it definitely is a fun little car. The MR2 is truly ahead of its time!

Bose Blows: TT

A small change but a big difference! Front Bose speakers replaced with Focal coaxial speakers.

Always a nice touch. Focal Badge covering the Bose logo

As you can see in this Audi TT, the speakers are mounted on the door skins. The nice thing about this is that depth is not an issue. The speaker beside the cutters is the original Bose speaker, the speaker mounted in the door is the new Focal speaker replacing the original Bose.

Look at the structure and assembly of the door......this is not no ordinary door.

speaker cover protecting the Focal speaker from moisture and rain.....you can already see water marks on the cover.
