Transformer Upgrade: Camaro

Brand new Chevy Camaro with headers and cat back exhaust. Sounds mean on the outside but can use a little spicing up on the inside. The Boston Acoustic manufacture stereo isn't cutting it. The simplest fix....change the speakers. even tho Boston Acoustic is a decent car audio manufacturer.....when it comes to OEM....a special line of speakers is developed from Boston to offer something on a budget but have the branding. We replaced these cheap Boston's with some high end focal speakers.
On the Left is the new Focal KR2 component speaker, on the right is the Boston Acoustic manufacturer speaker. As you can see the fancy Focal speaker on the left has a cast metal basket giving it a strong structure so it does not resonate.....just one of the many reasons that make this a MUCH better speaker.
Using the original speaker spacer the Focal KR2's are a perfect fit.

Looks the same......but definitely does not sound the same. Has a much warmer...softer sound.....with a good amount of volume. Removed the Boston badge on the speaker grill and replaced it with the Focal badge to give the new speakers credit.

Boom Box: xB

The guys over a Wacky Wings brought over their Scion XB to make it more appealing and at the same time make it sound good. Since this is going to be a promotional vehicle we are going to be installing a lot of lights. Strobe lights....under car lights...grill lights.
Installing strobe lights inside the headlights and tail lights require a lot of skill and some time. a heavy duty vacuum is required to suck out all the bits of plastic when drilling inside the casing of the headlight.
Two 12" JL Audio 12W1v2 Sub woofer enclosure. This is a good shallow sub woofer for a small setup.
2 tone custom finish. Trim panel being made to give it a finished built-in look
Custom sealed box built to sub woofer specification. "the box makes the sub"! Rounded edges. Material matched to the interior of the car. This is a perfect setup that is good for promotional and practical. Nice vehicle Wacky Wings!

Touch me: MR2

1992 Mr2 in mint condition. Except the audio!....especially when its about 20 years old. This Mr2 required a major over haul. New wires, speakers, deck, amplifier, sub woofer.
Kenwood Touch screen with bluetooth, capable of streaming nav and net flix from the iphone. Adding this head unit to the simple Mr2 dash brought the car up to date.
With the T tops off and the system playing over the wind noise .......it definitely is a fun little car. The MR2 is truly ahead of its time!

Bose Blows: TT

A small change but a big difference! Front Bose speakers replaced with Focal coaxial speakers.
Always a nice touch. Focal Badge covering the Bose logo
As you can see in this Audi TT, the speakers are mounted on the door skins. The nice thing about this is that depth is not an issue. The speaker beside the cutters is the original Bose speaker, the speaker mounted in the door is the new Focal speaker replacing the original Bose.
Look at the structure and assembly of the door......this is not no ordinary door.
speaker cover protecting the Focal speaker from moisture and rain.....you can already see water marks on the cover.

Ultra Bimmer: 3 Series

JL audio 13w7 sub woofer. JL audio slash amplifiers Custom fiberglass trunk setup. Vented enclosure for maximum SPL. Airbrushed to perfection!
Custom 1 piece fiberglass trim panel. 1mm bigger and it will not fit.
Painted Jet Black to match the exterior of the vehicle. The port for the sub woofer comes in front of the driver.....push double the amount of air. Very clean but complex enclosure. The nicest w7 install in a BMW.

Double vision: Venza

The Toyota Venza comes with a sun roof above the front seats and a panoramic roof above the rear seats. This is a very nice design but makes it very complex for installing an overhead LCD screen. We are one of the few (if any) that is able to install an overhead monitor safe and secure.
The front Kenwood eXcelon in dash touch screen with navigation controls the rear screen for the kids. Very handy especially if your siblings are not old enough to insert a disc and press play.

Sweet Slushie: RSX

ULTRA Acura RSX type s. Complete audio setup. Pioneer in dash touch screen. High end Focal front 6.5" coaxial speakers. Kenwood eXcelon rear speakrs. JL audio 12W3V3 sub woofer.
Every RSX should have an In-dash touch screen gps, bluetooth with back up camera. It Looks amazing in the plain dash.
Focal badge on the door. Nice way to show off the speakers.
Focal Access 165ca1 coax spk installed to replace the factory bose speaker.
Original premium sound bose spk
A nice clean setup. Subwoofer always removable if cargo space is needed. Amplifiers installed on the back of the rear seats. Wiring run nice and neat.

Angel with a wild side: A4

This beautiful Audi A4 got into the wrong hands (I wont name any names). These people used the wrong type of wires, low quality products, and did a horrible install......and the worst part is......let the customer leave dissatisfied. The sound was so horrible that the OEM setup sounded much much better. The owner found us on google and liked what he saw. We removed all the old wiring, rewired everything properly, added our JL XD600/6 amplifier. Wallah! happy Mr Customer.
JL Audio amp and chache mounted on custom made board. Used top quality signiture RCAs'. Best part is hearing this thing! WOW!
Amp hidden in Left rear compartment. Nobody will know about this story…….. hahaha

People come to ULTRA AUTO SOUND because it is done right!
